Homestead for Adults!

Everyone who moved west when
the woods were still wild had decisions to make and skills to learn.
Making a shelter was one of the first. Settlers made more permanent
housing while woodsmen used simple structures. Learn how to build a
shelter/cabin, make felt, cook with a Dutch oven and a few other
things. Living off the land and preparing for winter were other
important lessons. Step back into the past and have a blast. Cooking
and living will take place at the Homestead site.
